Nonna Pia’s balsamic glazes were created by our Master Chef after he tasted 50-year aged Balsamico Traditionale on a trip to Italy in 2010.
Upon returning to North America, he was unable to find anything that had a similar taste and texture.
Most balsamic glazes across North America use a balsamic vinegar base with thickening agents and sweeteners added. By using a traditional reduction process, Nonna Pia’s delivers a balsamic glaze with a uniquely clean ingredient deck and unparalleled flavour!
