Puttanesca Flatbread with Arugula & Olives

Crispy flatbread layered with bold puttanesca, melty mozzarella, briny olives, and finished with fresh arugula.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 store-bought flatbread (or pizza dough of choice)
  • ½–¾ cup Nonna Pia’s Puttanesca Sauce
  • 1–1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup kalamata olives, pitted
  • 1–2 cups fresh arugula

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Place flatbread on a baking sheet. Spread Nonna Pia’s Puttanesca Sauce generously over the surface.
  3. Top with shredded mozzarella and evenly scatter the kalamata olives.
  4. Bake for 8–10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and begins to lightly brown.
  5. Remove from oven and finish with a handful of fresh arugula. Slice and serve immediately.

If using store-bought pizza dough, follow package instructions for baking time and temperature.

SERVING TIP

Perfect as a quick weeknight dinner or easy appetizer. Add a drizzle of olive oil or a pinch of red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
