BBQ Grilled Peaches with Vanilla Ice Cream

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 fresh peaches, peeled and halved with stone removed (may use canned peaches if not in season)
  • 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Nonna Pia’s Strawberry Fig Balsamic Glaze
  • 2 sticks of cinnamon to garnish

DIRECTIONS

  1. PREHEAT BBQ on high heat
  2. Grill peach halves flat side down until they start to caramelize and grill marks are visible.
  3. Flip over and grill round side of peach.
  4. Remove from heat and place in fridge or freezer to cool.
  5. Place peaches on plate, sprinkle with ground cinnamon and garnish with cinnamon sticks.
  6. Fill the center of each peach with ice cream.
  7. Drizzle with Nonna Pia’s Strawberry Fig Balsamic Glaze.
  8. Serve.
